Today in 2023, English became the most powerful, famous, and global language. But is English the first  Global language? Was there another Global language before English? The answer is yes before English 2 Indo- European languages  were much dominant in their era. And these languages were Greek and Latin.

Latin Language.

Salikoko Mufwene is a linguistic professor from the University of Chicago, states that Latin is the first recorded global language in the world. And it was an international language longer than English. About 1300 years. It was dominant in the world. It was during the Roman ost of the Empire. In most Western European cities, Latin was one of the main languages. But after the end of the Roman Empire, the Latin language broke into pieces. It started developing differently in different regions. Due to this, many of the current languages are forms. Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian, These importance and widely spoken languages merged from Latin.

That was spoken by more than 1 million people in the Republic of Cyprus and spoken by minorities in Albania, Italy, and Turkey. If anyone knows English, then he must know some Greek. Some people thought developed a language through which every person in the world could communicate with everyone else. That wouldn’t be limited to only a country. That isn’t limited to a region. Instead, it could be a global language. That’s how the Esperanto language was born. That is a language that was create by a Polish man in 1887. And obviously, this language wasn’t successful. Today, it is estimated that about 100,000 to 2 million people speak Esperanto. It is easy to learn this language. The founder of this language claim, It would take only an hour to learn its grammar. If a person knows any European Language like SPANISH, PORTUGESE, ITALIAN, FRENCH, GERMAN, and ENGLISH, then it is easy to learn. The Esperanto language is create by the combinations of these languages. And while creating ensures that grammar is made as simple as possible. Worlds are pronouns as they are spells. And by using prefixes and suffixes, it is easy to create new words. So it doesn’t have an extensive vocabulary.
